Electrical work can be dangerous and should only ever be attempted by a competent registered electrician who has the relevant skills and tools to complete the job safely. I am fully insured for both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity and provide a free 6yr labour only warranty on all work carried out . I have worked in the Industrial , Commercial , and Domestic electrical industry since 1996.

Electrical Safety in the Home
Electrical hazards are invisible but deadly, causing fires and electrical shocks. These hazards are easily preventable if you use a qualified electrician to install and maintain your electrics. Government figures estimate that each year there are around 10 fatal and 2,000 non-fatal electric shock accidents in the home. There are also about 12,500 electrical fires in homes across the UK each year. Although many incidents are caused by faulty appliances rather than the electrical installation itself, a properly installed and well-maintained electrical system could save lives. In this section you'll find lots of help and information about making sure that the electrics in your home are safe and up to date with current regulations.

Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms
I fit a wide variety of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and can both advise on and plan an alarm layout to give a rapid  indication to occupants in the event of fire and/or excessive carbon monoxide fumes throughout the entire home.

I am a trained installer for 'aico' - world leading manufacturers of high performance fire detection products and am listed on their Trained Installer list for homeowners on the 'aico' website at www.aico.co.uk
